Reaching the venue

Jamnagar Industrial International Expo is located in an Exhibition Ground opposite New Jamnagar on the Jamnagar Dwarka Highway from Jamnagar.

The gates of the exhibition will be prominently visible on the left hand side about 4.7 km. from Jamnagar as one travels on the Jamnagar Dwarka Highway. The ride from Jamnagar to the venue is about 10 min. by car.

Jamnagar is well connected to all the major cities of Gujarat and the rest of India.

By Air

International :

The nearest international airport is the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel
International Airport in Ahmedabad at a distance of 318 km. The airport has international flights to cities such as Abu Dhabi, London, Kuwait, Newark, Addis Ababa, Dubai, Muscat and Singapore, among others. There are numerous domestic flights to the rest of India.

Domestic :

Jamnagar airport is about 9 km from the city centre. It services domestic flights from Mumbai, Delhi, Ahmedabad, Vadodara and other cities of India. Go Air, Spicejet, Indigo, Air India provide flight services regularly for Jamnagar.

The next closest domestic airport is Hirasar Airport (HSR) or Rajkot Hirasar International Airport also known as Rajkot Greenfield International Airport. It is about 126 km. or about 2 hr. 12 min. drive from Jamnagar and is located in Gujarat’s Hirasar village, 25 km northeast of Rajkot. It is near the National Highway 8B (NH8B) connecting Ahmedabad and Rajkot. Presently, the airport is under development and only services 6 domestic flights notably from Mumbai, New Delhi and Bangalore. There are 2 daily flights each operated by Indian Airlines and Jet Airways.

 

By Road( Car/Cab/Bus) :

Gujarat has the best road network in India with smooth and well maintained highways.

The nearest city Rajkot is about 92 km away. Jamnagar is well connected by road to cities in Gujarat like Amedabad, Vadodara, Surat, Rajkot, Porbandar, Dwarka and Bhuj as well as cities in rest of India like Mumbai, Delhi and Udaipur.

The bus stand at Jamnagar is just about 2 km away from the city center. The state transport (ST) buses managed by the state government also have a good frequency. ST buses go hourly to Rajkot and every 30 minutes to JunagadhOther buses go to Dwarka, Porbandar, Bhuj and Ahmedabad and other places of Gujarat.

Private bus service operators regularly run AC, nonAC, Volvo, Deluxe, and Sleeper buses from Jamnagar to other cities in Gujarat and Mumbai.

Dwarka and Bhuj as well as cities in rest of India like Mumbai, Delhi and

By Railway :

Jamnagar is on the Western Railway network of the Indian Railways. The
Jamnagar Railway Station is situated at a distance of 4 km from the city
center. It is well connected with the rest of the country via number of daily / weekly trains.

There are direct trains from Mumbai, Delhi, Ahmedabad, Kota, Ratlam and Lucknow. The Saurashtra Mail and the Saurashtra Express are the popular trains that run between Jamnagar and Mumbai. An Inter City Train runs daily between Jamnagar and Ahmedabad. There are also trains to Dwarka. 

The distance between Jamnagar and Mumbai is about 820 km with a travel time of 15 hours. From Delhi, it is about 1200 km with a travel time of about24 hours.

The venue of the exhibition is about 6.7 kms from the Jamnagar Railway
Station.

Local Travel :

To move around in the city and visit tourist places, there is an excellent local bus service available. It’s cheap and easy to avail of the bus service.
Additionally, local autorickshaws are the preferred transport for quick hops. Anywhere in Jamnagar city is within 10 minutes travelling distance.
Taxis are widely used in Jamnagar for commuting outside the city. There is a taxi stand near the S.T. Bus stand. Hotels may also arrange taxis for their customers.
