Jamnagar famously known as the Brass City is not only India’s leading brassware manufacturer accounting for nearly 80% of the total national brass exports, but in fact, houses the world’s largest cluster of brassware manufacturers.

The Brass City accounts for an annual output of brass parts and other brassware worth USD 3+ billion!

There are 5000+ manufacturing units mostly MSMEs and nearly 25% of the output are exported to over 100 countries!

With an annual growth rate in double digits, it is the world’s fast growing producer of brass and brassware, parts and components. The raw material used comprises about 70% recycled materials and this also makes the Brass City one of the world’s largest recycler of brass. Importantly, the City is also famous for doing its business in a most environment friendly manner!

The brass industry of Jamnagar provides employment to over 250,000 people and is in fact, the largest employment provider of the region.

While traditional craftsmanship and artistry in decorative items has flourished since ages, the Brass City has been no laggard in embracing the most modern tools and technologies of production. In fact, today its world class products are exported to the most advanced economies like the USA and European markets.
